Hockey Learn to Skate
Hockey Learn to Skate is a registered Learn to Skate USA program and is endorsed by USA Hockey.
A Learn to Skate USA Membership is essential in tracking your skater's progress as they glide through the curriculum during our programs. We require all of our Learn to Skate participants to maintain a Learn to Skate USA Membership. Winter 2025 Mon HLTS G1-3
This program is designed as a beginner's guide to skating, perfect for those eager to learn the basics of ice skating or aspiring to play hockey. The class focuses on fundamental skating skills, including moving forward and backward, stopping, and the initial steps of transitioning between movements. It's an ideal starting point for anyone keen on mastering the essential techniques of ice skating.
Ages 3+ welcome!
December 1st 2025 - January 19th 2026
8 Sessions on Monday evenings
Groups 1A & 1B
Class time: 5:45pm - 6:15pm
Open ice time: 6:15pm - 6:45pm
Groups 2 & 3
Class time: 6:45pm - 7:15pm
Open ice time: 5:45pm - 6:15pm
Cost $100
*Skate rentals are included in Hockey Learn to Skate
* No hockey equipment required.

Player attire/gear:
For new or beginner skaters, wearing a helmet is essential. If you do not have a helmet, please inform us, as we have a limited number available for borrowing during classes.
Furthermore, we strongly recommend that skaters wear gloves, a warm jacket, and flexible athletic clothing for both classes and practice sessions.
