Rise on Ice – Learn to Skate with LESA
Get ready to turn a school day into an unforgettable ice adventure! LESA’s Rise on Ice program partners with local schools to bring students (ages 8 through high school) to our home facility at LECOM Sports Park for a fun, active, and engaging skating experience.
Whether it’s a one-time field trip or part of a full-session gym class, students arrive ready for excitement—bussed in by their school and welcomed by our Skating Director and the facility's staff. After getting fitted for skates and learning important off-ice safety basics, they hit the ice with classmates and teachers for a 15-minute introductory lesson covering the fundamentals of skating—plus plenty of time to glide, laugh, and build confidence along the way!
